Deuteronomy 13:4
Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.

Dear Lord,                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               March 20, 2009

I have nothing to bring to you and had nothing to bring to you, although I thought I did, I now know it was all nothing. Nothing until You called me out and now I am something, something for you to use, something for you to tailor to your needs, something You delight in, something that has everlasting value, something that now knows love.

So many times I came to your altar and felt nothing happened, but now I know you were with me all the time and you knew I’d pass the test. It was that wonderful day that again I came to your altar and you brought me out. You brought me out to your marvelous light and told me I never had to go back. Back to a place of wondering if I could keep it. Wondering if I could keep what I had experienced with you. You brought me to a place of security in You to where I run to your Presence and everything else is nothing, compared to you. You have brought me to a place of boldness of knowing You in the spirit. You have brought me to a place to help others to be lead by your Spirit.

You gave me the gift of the Holy Ghost but it took years of hanging in there, years of waiting, years of wondering, years of testing but it was all worth it because now I’ve made it. Made it into your favour and there’s only looking ahead that matters, looking ahead to eternity with You. You are what I live for and delight in submitting to your awesome power and unrelenting love for me. Dear Jesus, you have my permission to “alter my altar”. Today I hear your voice and will place on the altar what you request of me, not what I am willing to give. I will give you whatever is required to hear your voice so I may obey you.

Revelation or Revolution

Revelation or Revolution

Conviction… it really is a good thing if you are willing… to change. And why wouldn’t you want to change if He has made all the provisions you need available to you? So let me ask where are you in your walk with God? Are you having a revelation with Him or a revolution with Him? It really is black and white, just like His words in the bible, yea or nay.

We look around us today at the world and say” Surely the end is near, look what’s happening.” Don’t allow your focus to shift from the real source of what’s happening and that’s in the Spirit. I am truly not concerned with the events of the day but use my time to stay submitted to Him and be secure in His love. However ‘the end’ happens and I am walking with Him is the only thing that matters. So I asked Him one day “What is time, really?” I will leave you with this word from the Lord, His definition of time for us believers:

             Invested in

Talk to Him and expect Him to talk back, because He really wants to talk to you. He died for you to hear Him speak and that is why He sent the comforter. This is more than something to think about, it is something to submit about.

Know His love today,

Don’t wait another day,

Matthew 5:37
But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.

Mathew Henry’s Commentary

The third commandment.

There is no reason to consider that solemn oaths in a court of justice, or on other proper occasions, are wrong, provided they are taken with due reverence. But all oaths taken without necessity, or in common conversation, must be sinful, as well as all those expressions which are appeals to God, though persons think thereby to evade the guilt of swearing. The worse men are, the less they are bound by oaths; the better they are, the less there is need for them. Our Lord does not enjoin the precise terms wherein we are to affirm or deny, but such a constant regard to truth as would render oaths unnecessary. (Mt 5:38-42)

Drawing Me Closer

Dear Readers,

This is a poem the Lord gave me before I left for a memorial service for my high school girlfriend who had passed away. I felt compelled to give this to her mother and found her very comforted by it. Her friend who was sitting with her was so deeply touched , she asked for a copy. Please share this with others if you feel lead to do so.

Drawing Me Closer

Lord today I realized that the more I know You the more I need You.

The more I need You the less I need anything else.

The less I need anything else the closer I am to You.

The closer I am to You the easier it is to yield to You.

The more I yield to You, the more I know your love for me.

The more I know your love for me, the more I want to show others your love.

Job 6:24
Teach me, and I will hold my tongue: and cause me to understand wherein I have erred.

Matthew Henry’s Commentary

Job 6 (Whole Chapter) Job reproves his friends as unkind.

In his prosperity Job formed great expectations from his friends, but now was disappointed. This he compares to the failing of brooks in summer. Those who rest their expectations on the creature will find it fail when it should help them; whereas those who make God their confidence have help in the time of need, Heb 4:16. Those who make gold their hope, sooner or later will be ashamed of it, and of their confidence in it. It is our wisdom to cease from man. Let us put all our confidence in the Rock of ages, not in broken reeds; in the Fountain of life, not in broken cisterns. The application is very close; to for now ye are nothing.  It were well for us, if we had always such convictions of the vanity of the creature, as we have had, or shall have, on a sick-bed, a death-bed, or in trouble of conscience. Job upbraids his friends with their hard usage. Though in want, he desired no more from them than a good look and a good word.

It often happens that, even when we expect little from man, we have less; but from God, even when we expect much, we have more. Though Job differed from them, yet he was ready to yield as soon as it was made to appear that he was in error. Though Job had been in fault, yet they ought not to have given him such hard usage. His righteousness he holds fast, and will not let it go. He felt that there had not been such iniquity in him as they supposed. But it is best to commit our characters to Him who keeps our souls; in the great day every upright believer shall have praise of God.

World Wide Daily Revelations

“Do not be ashamed of your sin, for when you give it to Me,  I will  take it from  you  and  use  it for My glory in you.”

These words were give to me by the Lord during a Christian conference called WinterFire 2009 in Bloomfield,CT, USA in the month of January.  I share this for all to see and know that we can come to Him with everything and He will use it to help us and to edify the body of  believers.  Do not allow sin to keep you from all the abundance He has waiting for you. Keep your communication open and consistent with Him and He will talk with you as He walks with you.

The revelation for me here was that our creator made sin to be used for His glory. Before  this I thought sin was something negative or to be scorned. Now I know, Jesus can take it and use it for good, as long as I am willing to humble myself and submit to Him. Oh how wonderful to abide in His love and to be assured of His tender careful correction.

II Timothy 2:15  Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Please feel free to share your comments with me and others at this blog. Share your revelations too and strengthen others as well. We need to pass on  hope and encouragement to all  in these “end times” we are in, as the apostles did in the book of Acts.  If this has been a blessing to you, send it to someone else.

May God Bless You in everything!
